2. Data Processing & Principles
We adhere to the principle of data minimization and only process personal data that is strictly necessary to operate our website and provide our services. We do not use third-party tracking services, social media plugins, or analytics tools.
Depending on the context, processing is based on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or your consent where explicitly obtained (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Contact Form
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to create a ticket in our internal mail system and to respond to inquiries and requests for quotes.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with you and handling inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for requests relating to offers or contracts, performing pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We retain your message only as long as necessary to answer your inquiry or until we determine that no agreement will be reached. After the purpose is fulfilled, your data is deleted.
5. Hosting & Infrastructure (Cloudflare)
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered via Cloudflare’s Content Delivery Network (CDN). We also use Cloudflare Workers to securely process the contact form and route messages to our email provider.
In providing these services, Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) processes visitors’ IP addresses and other technical data to route traffic, mitigate malicious activity, and ensure site availability and performance. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
TLS/HTTPS encryption is enforced end-to-end via Cloudflare.
6. Server Log Files
When you access our website, certain technical data (e.g., IP address, date and time of access, URL requested, referrer URL, user-agent) may be collected and temporarily stored in logs by Cloudflare to ensure security and service integrity. This data is not combined with other data sources for profiling. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Email Delivery (SendGrid via Worker)
Our contact form submissions are processed by a Cloudflare Worker and delivered via SendGrid (Twilio Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). SendGrid receives the email and its content solely for reliable and secure delivery to our mailbox. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as explained above.
8. International Data Transfers
Where services involve processing in the United States, personal data may be transferred under appropriate safeguards, including participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as applicable.
9. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include TLS/HTTPS encryption, minimized data collection, and restricted access on a need-to-know basis.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Where no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
